e-mobilio is a provider of a cloud-based consulting solution for electromobility as a one-stop store that makes it easier for drivers to switch to electromobility. Founded by Ralph Missy and Denis Reichel, the start-up is the leading partner for 360° electromobility in the automotive market. Its customers in Germany and Austria include over 350 car dealership groups, well-known car manufacturers such as Toyota and insurance companies such as HUK-Coburg, which integrate e-mobilio's e-purchase advisor as a white-label solution into their own offers and sales processes.
As part of its international growth strategy, e-mobilio has successfully completed a Series A financing round of 9.5 million euros.
The lead investor is SET Ventures, Europe's leading independent energy venture capital investor. The existing investors Übermorgen Ventures, Wi Venture, seed+speed Ventures and Gateway Ventures are also participating in this round, and the family office zwei.7 has also been acquired as a new investor. SET has been investing in the electromobility trend for over 15 years and has already achieved several successful exits. For example, SET invested early on in Epyon, a leading technology solution for fast charging stations, which was acquired by ABB, and Greenflux, a leading European software platform for e-car charging management, which was acquired by DKV.
This is exactly where e-mobilio comes in. With the e-purchase advisor, e-car buyers can find their individual overall package consisting of charging technology, installation, public charging, photovoltaics, electricity tariff, GHG quota, subsidies and many other services in addition to the electric car.
"Those who can provide holistic advice on the electromobility ecosystem and offer it to their customers in line with their needs not only create unique customer benefits and increase customer loyalty, but also secure valuable additional revenue across all components of the electromobility ecosystem." Ralph Missy, Co-Founder of e-mobilio
With its range of solutions, e-mobilio has established a dominant market position in Germany. Following its successful market entry in Austria, the company is now looking to expand into other European markets. "With the fresh capital, we will continue to drive our international growth and resolve the two main bottlenecks in electromobility: Demand-oriented consulting and optimal fulfillment at the end customer. Both together lead to a seamless customer journey and thus to an accelerated market ramp-up." Denis Reichel, co-founder of e-mobilio
"The market for electromobility has now reached a new phase - while the market was initially characterized by the so-called "early adopters", the offer is now ready for the broad mass market. However, the process of buying a car and customer loyalty will also change dramatically as a result. Here, e-mobilio is ideally positioned to play a leading role in this change process. The strong position in the traditionally conservative German car market underlines the central role that e-mobilio already plays in this market and is a strong basis for further international growth." Dr. Till Stenzel, Partner at SET Ventures
