Double loader wall boxes for the home

If you want to use one wallbox for two electric cars at the same time, or if you run a small fleet as a company, you need one or more twin or duo wallboxes with two connections. We show which twin chargers are suitable and where the differences lie!

One wallbox with one charging point in the garage or on the company premises is not always enough. What if there are several electric vehicles in the family or there is not enough space for a second charging station in the company parking lot?

One for two: the innovative twin chargers

With a so-called "twin charger", both the space and capacity problem can be easily solved with the double charging point. Advances in technology make a lot of things possible, as can easily be seen with the innovative Pracht Alpha XT and Elinta Charge CityCharge charging stations.

Each of these dual chargers combines two charging points in one charging station and is equipped for use both in double or underground garages as well as outdoors in company parking lots. In addition to the two charging points, this is made possible by the Twin Charger's high-quality electronic components. The intelligent internal load management, which each charging station has in addition to the two charging sockets, guarantees the safe connection of two vehicles at the same time, whereby the charging power is automatically adjusted. Protected access via an RFID system as well as integrated DC fault current detection and, if necessary, even RCD protection are now standard features of modern charging points - regardless of whether they are twin chargers or not. These three twin chargers are also equipped with the appropriate technology. Combining two charging points in one charging station reduces installation costs and space requirements. The installation of a wallbox with two charging points is doubly worthwhile, especially outdoors, where extra stands are often required, as only one stand is needed per wallbox.
